Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Travel Sales Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for travel, excellent sales skills, and the ability to deliver outstanding customer service. This role involves selling travel packages and services directly to consumers, ensuring they have memorable and seamless travel experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Customer Service:
Promote and sell domestic and international travel packages to individual customers.
Understand client needs and preferences to provide tailored travel solutions.
Handle customer inquiries and provide detailed information on travel options, destinations, and packages.
Close sales and achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Travel Consultation:
Offer expert advice on travel destinations, itineraries, and accommodations.
Assist clients in planning their travel itineraries, including flights, hotels, tours, and other travel services.
Stay updated on travel trends, new destinations, and travel regulations.
Booking and Documentation:
Manage travel bookings and reservations, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
Prepare and process travel documents, including visas, passports, and travel insurance.
Handle cancellations, changes, and refunds efficiently.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
Follow up with clients post-travel to gather feedback and ensure satisfaction.
Maintain a customer database and update records regularly.
Marketing and Promotion:
Participate in promotional activities and travel fairs to generate leads.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement sales strategies.
Utilize social media and other platforms to promote travel deals and packages.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Travel and Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
Experience:
Proven experience in travel sales, preferably in a B2C environment.
Familiarity with domestic and international travel destinations and packages.
Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong sales and negotiation abilities.
Proficiency in using travel booking systems and CRM software.
Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
