Job Description

As an HR Assistant, you will provide vital support to the Human Resources department in various administrative and clerical tasks. Your role will contribute to the smooth operation of HR processes and procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. This position is ideal for individuals who are organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting the needs of both employees and the HR team.

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Support: Assist with day-to-day HR administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, maintaining employee records, and managing HR documents.

Recruitment Assistance: Support the recruitment process by posting job openings, scheduling interviews, coordinating candidate communication, and conducting initial resume screenings.

Onboarding and Offboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing paperwork, coordinating orientation sessions, and assisting with new employee orientation. Also, assist with offboarding tasks such as exit interviews and paperwork completion.

Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries, providing information and assistance as needed. Escalate more complex issues to HR management.
Benefits Administration: Assist with benefits enrollment processes, changes, and inquiries. Maintain accurate records of employee benefits participation and eligibility.

HR Policy Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as legal regulations. Assist in updating and disseminating HR policies and employee handbook revisions.

Payroll Support: Collaborate with the payroll department to verify timesheets, resolve payroll discrepancies, and assist with payroll-related inquiries from employees.

Training and Development: Coordinate training sessions and workshops for employees, track training attendance, and assist with training logistics.

Employee Recognition Programs: Assist in coordinating employee recognition programs and events to promote employee engagement and morale.

HR Projects: Support HR projects and initiatives as assigned, such as employee engagement surveys, diversity and inclusion programs, or HR system implementations.
